We can’t wait to get the school year started.
We’re looking forward to the start of the new school year, and hopefully you are too. There are lots of new and exciting things we can’t wait to share and introduce – teachers, clubs and organizations, and a brand new lunch program.
To learn more and get things started on the right foot, plan on attending the orientation days scheduled for each of the school buildings.
Elementary Open House/Orientation: Thursday, August 22, 3-6 p.m.
Stop in any time between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to drop off school supplies, find out who your children will have for a teacher, talk with teachers, and visit classrooms. Paperwork from the orientation packet should also be dropped off during this time. Stop by the gym to learn more about PTA, using Scrip, scouting groups, and other volunteer opportunities. The Uniform Exchange tables will also be set up, so bring in the clothes your kids have outgrown and swap them with new.
Middle/High School Student Orientation Day: Monday, August 26
Meet in the Commons
5th grade: 8-10 a.m.
Middle school (6th-8th): 10-12 p.m.
High school (9th-12th): 1-3 p.m.
Students will be welcomed by administration and have time to drop off school supplies, decorate lockers, take school pictures, and pick up course schedules. Parents can also deposit money in their student’s lunch account, purchase middle school gym uniforms and/or their student’s music polo. This orientation is designed more for students, and is not an open house format. Please have students here at the assigned times.
